Anybody who wishes is warmly invited to contribute with information or material. Observations of individual bears (especially females with young or bear present in uncommon areas), location of winter dens, rubbing trees or carcasses scavenged are very useful information. You could contribute to bear research and conservation if in your area you:
- observed any bears,
- saw footprints, winterdens, daily beds, foraging sites, damages, prey, rubbing trees,
- found scats and hairs,
- documented some human-bear conflict.

If you are interested in helping us in collection of scat and hair samples, please let us know - we will provide you with necessary instructions and equipment!
